Laser technology plays starring role at Lamiera 2023

A little more than two months are left before the opening of Lamiera, the international trade show centred on sheet metal forming and sheet metal cutting machines and related technologies, scheduled to take place at Fieramilano Rho from 10 to 13 May 2023. Laser technology will be strongly represented by 40 exhibitors.

The world of laser technology has always played a starring role at Lamiera. The upcoming event will be represented by over 40 enterprises. Besides laser, plasma and thermal cutting technologies for sheet metal, bars, sections and tubes, the trade fair will set the stage for a comprehensive range of sources, consumables and machines.

Alfredo Mariotti, general manager of Uscimu — Sistemi per Produrre: "In this edition — which will take place one year after the previous one, in order to return to the traditional positioning in the calendar of trade fairs, i.e. in the odd years — there are numerous companies that have never exhibited before. Among these, there are also Turkish and Chinese exhibitors, which proves that the metal forming sector is in full swing and that Italy is an interesting market for the operators of the sector coming from all over the world".

To complete the product offering on show, as usual Lamiera will feature Lamialamiera, the arena set up in Hall 13, which will host in-depth cultural and themed meetings, conferences and conventions. Among the discussed topics, special attention will be given to laser, plasma and thermal cutting and to the multiple, varied applications that will be illustrated (also) by exhibitors.
